4. Children's Privacy
ShoeSizeBook is a family-oriented app where parents and guardians manage size data for their household, which may include children. All data is entered and managed by the account holder (parent or guardian). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us so we can remove it.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which permanently removes all your data including family members, size measurements, and subscription records.
6. Data Security
All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Your data is stored securely on our cloud backend (Convex). While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
7. What We Don't Do
- We do not display ads
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
- We do not sell or share your data with data brokers
- We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, delete your account from Settings or contact us at the address below.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of ShoeSizeBook after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
